EAWP partners and stakeholders come from several stakeholder organizations and from many European countries. The discussion platform speaks with a truly European voice. In addition, the combined expertise of the partners guarantees authoritative conclusions.
Collectively, the stakeholders represent many groups with seemingly conflicting interests: breeders, farmers, consumers, the processing industry, non-governmental organizations, action groups. However, they are all looking for ways to improve animal welfare at all levels of the food chain so the partners and stakeholders look beyond their own private interests and aim at a common goal. Every partner can benefit from the project in one way or another.
All participants have signed a Code of Conduct in which they agree to conduct themselves in EAWP activities with the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
